Search Engines for Grant Opportunities
These are grant opportunities search engines that may require logins, but are free of charge to CAHNR.
Grants.gov
The clearinghouse search engine for federal grant opportunities. All 30 grant making federal agencies post opportunities through this website. Search by keyword, department/agency, or other eligibility criteria.
Pivot-PR
A comprehensive database of federally, locally, and privately funded opportunities, geared to researchers, faculty, and graduate students. The site is managed through partnership between OVPR and the UConn Library. Create an account and spend time in the brief training videos to fully leverage the power of Pivot. Researchers can create saved searches, which can push through to the recipient by email on a weekly basis. Caution: Pivot lags runs 10 days behind real time in posting opportunities. In other words, RFPs that are released by a sponsor on Day 1 may not appear in Pivot until Day 11.
